Each and every one of our 160 professionals has a science or engineering degree, with 17% of them having Ph.D. degree and 80% with Master's degree in a wide range of technical disciplines. More than one third of our professionals have had R&D experience in universities, research institutes and industries before they started the patent law practice. Ten patent attorneys held titles of senior research fellows at the Academy back in 1984, and today they are among the most experienced patent attorneys in China. Our technical expertise is further strengthened through continued recruitment of new talents from the Academy and the best universities of the country.

China Science boasts a team of attorneys equipped with ample international experience in working with overseas companies and organizations. A large portion of our clients are multinational companies from various countries. We have supported their needs to protect, exploit or litigate intellectual property rights in China. We also provide a full complement of patent and trademark agency services to associate firms of more than 20 jurisdictions.

As backgrounds, many of our attorneys had studied, worked or received professional trainings in the United States, Japan, Europe, or Canada, especially in law firms in these countries. We continue to dispatch annually our attorneys to have internship at foreign law firms or clients' sites to keep abreast with developments in intellectual property practice in important jurisdictions and for better understanding of clients' needs.

We are also involved proactively in major Chinese IP organizations and forums, such as the All-China Patent Agents Association and the China Intellectual Property Society, to provide our contributions in shaping up Chinese IP legal systems and law making processes.
