Technical Expertise

Strong technical expertise is what we believe adds values to our clients' demand. A sophisticated level of technical expertise and actual practice experience enables us to put a product or process out of the inventor's ingenuity into an as broad as possible scenario of relevant products and technologies. Each and every one of our 160 professionals has a science or engineering degree, with 17% of them having Ph.D. degree and 80% with Master's degree in a wide range of technical disciplines. More than one third of our professionals have had R&D experience in universities, research institutes and industries before they started the patent law practice. Ten patent attorneys held titles of senior research fellows at the Academy back in 1984, and today they are among the most experienced patent attorneys in China. Our technical expertise is further strengthened through continued recruitment of new talents from the Academy and the best universities of the country.

International Experience

China Science boasts a team of attorneys equipped with ample international experience in working with overseas companies and organizations. A large portion of our clients are multinational companies from various countries. We have supported their needs to protect, exploit or litigate intellectual property rights in China. We also provide a full complement of patent and trademark agency services to associate firms of more than 20 jurisdictions.

As backgrounds, many of our attorneys had studied, worked or received professional trainings in the United States, Japan, Europe, or Canada, especially in law firms in these countries. We continue to dispatch annually our attorneys to have internship at foreign law firms or clients' sites to keep abreast with developments in intellectual property practice in important jurisdictions and for better understanding of clients' needs.
